QIs there a registration/membership fee?
No, there is no registration/membership fee.*
QHow can I access my IMEI Number if I’ve already lost my phone and have not registered my phone at phoneANGEL.com? You can view our video tutorial on how to access your IMEI number using your device.
Should you need further assistance, please contact your service provider to retrieve your unique IMEI number. You can also access this information whether or not you are a monthly or contract holder.
QWhat happens after I create an account?
In the member area you can access your profile, send alerts, and receive status updates.
QWhat if I’m not a member at the time I lose my phone?
No need to worry, just create an account and you will be able to receive the full member benefits. Important: Please do not deactivate your phone prior to registering to become a member. In order to successfully send alerts to your phone, your account needs to be active.
QCan PhoneAngel help me if I’ve already deactivated my phone before sending an alert?
At this time, PhoneAngel will not be able to assist you.
QI lost my phone, what’s next?
Please do NOT deactivate your phone until you report it with PhoneAngel. Simply log into your account and send a report. PhoneAngel will send an alert to your account and notify you as soon as your phone is recovered.
QWhat payment methods do you accept?
Paypal, Discover, Visa, Mastercard.
QAfter my phone is found, how long does it take for me to receive my phone?
This is dependent of when the phone is sent to us, which can vary in length, however we will try our absolute best to reunite you with your phone as soon as possible. In a perfect world we would like you to receive it within 3-5 business days.
QWhen can I deactivate my service?
We strongly encourage that you notify PhoneAngel of your lost phone by sending an alert. Please wait 48 hours before deactivating your service if possible.
QWhat if I have a prepaid or month to month account?
No need to worry, you can still receive the full benefits from PhoneAngel.
QCan I register any other devices?
We are working hard to expand our services to include other electronic devices.
QWhat type of reward is offered?
We strongly recommend that owners of lost phones offer a small token of appreciation, however although it is encouraged, it is not required. 
QWhat if I want to deactivate my phone service and/or restore my phone settings to protect my privacy?
We strongly encourage individuals to take the steps they feel most comfortable. If you believe your privacy may be jeopardize or you’re just not willing to take the chance then please do what feels right to you. We can only assist in the retrieval of your phone and not in safeguarding your privacy. It is IMPORTANT, that the phone service deactivation is done after you have notified PhoneAngel and reported your phone with us.
QWhy do I need to give so much information?
It’s important we have all the personal information we need to identify and later verify the phone is yours. It is important that we match each phone with each appropriate account holder.
QI found a phone, how do I return it?
Please log into PhoneAngel.com and click on the Found a Phone tab. We do require some personal information so that we can send you a shipping label and instructions on how to return the phone. This option is also available to members in the member area.
